Canceling or Rescheduling Appointments

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, I ask that you do so with at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer the open time slot to another client who may be waiting. You can cancel or reschedule by contacting me directly via:

You will receive a confirmation once your cancellation or reschedule request has been processed.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows

If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, or if you do not attend your session without notifying me, you will be charged $100. This applies to all scheduled appointments, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Please understand that your session time is set aside specifically for you. When a session is canceled last minute or missed, it becomes unavailable to others in need of support.

Illness or Emergency

If you are experiencing a true emergency or sudden illness, I ask that you contact me as soon as possible. While the full session fee still applies for last-minute cancellations, I will always consider circumstances on a case-by-case basis and appreciate open communication.

Running Late to a Session

If you’re running behind, don’t worry — just let me know. I will still meet with you for the remainder of the time available. However, please note that sessions cannot be extended beyond the originally scheduled end time, out of respect for the next client.

Why This Policy Matters

Therapy works best when sessions are consistent and predictable. Showing up for your scheduled time each week is an essential part of the process. This policy is not meant to be punitive — it’s designed to support your progress, honor your time, and allow me to show up fully for each client, including you.
